This month the stitch pattern that I swatched is not from a stitch dictionary but one that I drew out on graph paper and knit 2 different ways to use as part of a design that I’m working on. The stitch pattern is a simple zig-zag done in purl stitches on a stockinette stitch background
I knit this swatch using a worsted weight wool on U.S. Size 8 needles. I cast on 10 stitches and knit 2 stitches in each row in a purl stitch on the right side.
You can achieve this diagonal line using any number of stitches.
So look for a new design sometime in February using this design element. I hope you like it!
Love your stitch patterns. I am going to save this one and use in a future project
So glad that you like them. I enjoy swatching new stitch patterns to see how they look. I’m glad that you’ll be able to use them in your projects.
I just wanted to let you know that I made 50 of the wedding dress dishcloths for my daughter’s bridal shower . Everyone loved the beautiful pattern. Thank you for all that you do. Greatly appreciated!
