Another year is coming to an end and I enjoy looking back throughout the year at my photos and thought I’d share some of my favorites with you.  2017 was a very challenging year for my family.  Lots of change and so I continued to knit through every crisis.  Here’s a few highlights:

I haven’t done many lately and hope to get back to this in 2018.  Sunday Quote photos are meant to inspire.  Here’s one of my favorites

Stitch Pattern Saturday has been a wonderful exercise in trying new stitch patterns and sharing them with you.  Several of the stitch patterns are included in designs that I’ve published and others are waiting for just the right project.  This is one of my favorites.  I haven’t decided what type of knitting project I’ll create with this stitch.

My favorite finished project of the year is my Sunrise in Italy Blanket.  I shared the details in this post.

Two new publications this year were amazing accomplishments for me.  Thank you all for your support and kind response to my new patterns.

I learned to weave this year and I’m having great fun using some of my older yarns.

And I finally purchased a yarn swift and discovered a nostepinne.  I wrote about that in this post.  It’s such a pleasure to wind yarn with these new tools.

 

Finally the Fall held plenty of yarn and knitting adventure for me.  In my highlights of my adventures post, I mention my time at Rhinebeck, North Light Fibers on Block Island, and Koigu in Ontario.  Here’s a few favorite memories
