Finished my scarf using the Berroco Inca Tweed yarn that I shared with you in my post of January 4, 2017.
I named the pattern Seven by Three Scarf and posted the pattern as a free pattern in my Ravelry shop.
This is such a simple stitch pattern. I discovered it while looking for stitch patterns for my Knit Stitch Saturday posts and posted the swatch on November 19, 2016. Knitting a new stitch pattern each week gives me an opportunity to experiment with stitch patterns and this one just begged to be used in a scarf. I made a few changes to the original repeats so that the vertical lines of the stockinette sections were on each side of the center. This scarf does roll a little before it’s blocked and flattens out once blocked.
If you decide to knit one, I’d love to see some pictures. Hope you’ll post them to Facebook or your Ravelry project pages.
This looks so lovely! Amazing how such a simple stitch pattern turns out such a pretty scarf. Really like that yarn too, it looks so soft. 🙂
So glad you like it. I enjoy knitting simple combinations of knit and purl that create a nice texture.
