Fancy Chevron from The Harmony Guide Stitch Pattern Book is this week’s stitch pattern.
I really like this pattern and will be using it in an afghan. I can picture it using a bulky weight yarn on a Size 11 knitting needle. I think the texture would be lovely. A warm and cozy accent for any room. What other projects would you like to see with this stitch pattern?
For my swatch, I only did one repeat of the 22 stitch pattern so it difficult to see that multiple repeats will create a zig-zag pattern. This swatch is knit using worsted weight yarn and U.S. size 7 knitting needles. The pattern is a 14 row repeat and I completed 28 rows. The seed stitch section is surrounded by stockinette sections and outlined with a garter stitch section.

I can see this pattern in place mats. Love it!
I think that would be great! I’ll start working on a place mat.
