This week I knit the Ribbed Basketweave pattern. I used my U.S. Size 7 knitting needles and a worsted weight cotton yarn. This pattern consists of a 14 stitch repeat plus 7 to finish. I cast on only 21 stitches and knit one complete pattern of 21 rows.
Due to the ribbing in this pattern, it does not lay square so I put a few pins in the corners so you could get a good idea of the pattern.
This was a fun and easy knit with a minimal amount of counting. I think this pattern would work well in an area where you wanted a slight amount of shaping. Any suggestions on how you would use this knitting pattern?
Love the pattern and the color
