Hardly anything to share with you.
I realize that I haven’t written a post in the last 5 weeks. I have been busy knitting and sewing the entire time but I can’t share the main project that I’m working on because it’s a huge surprise.
When I need a break from that huge project, I’ve been working on developing a collection of Doll Clothes for 13-14 inch dolls. Here’s a sneak peak of the coat that I knit.

I discovered Caron Simply Soft Light Yarn. It’s 100% acrylic in #3 Light weight which makes it ideal for doll clothes. It’s easy to work and has a nice feel to it. The coat above is in Red #0013 and Honey #0003.
After I finished the coat. I decided to use this yarn to make a favorite dress for Barbie. I designed this pattern in 1997 or 1998. I added the shrug several years later. I have to edit the pattern then I’ll decide if I’m going to make the pattern available in my Ravelry shop or add the finished dress and shrug to my Etsy shop.
Now it’s time to make some major progress on that surprise knitting project. I’ve got a lot of knitting to do before it’s finished and a major deadline to meet.
