Here’s a Baby Blanket that I finished this week. It’s one of the designs from the Encore Eight Hour Baby Blanket Booklet. These are my favorite baby blankets to knit. It really does only take 8 hours of knitting. The Encore Worsted yarn is held double on Size 13 needles. The blanket only uses four skeins of yarn.
When it’s done, it’s machine wash and dry. These blankets make wonderful baby gifts.
So, I continue to work my way through my yarn stash. I’m making a baby sweater that coordinates with this blanket. Also, just started another one with a pink variegated yarn that’s in my stash. I haven’t bought yarn for two months so I really am making progress. I continue to look forward to the day when I can shop and come home and start a new project without adding yarn to an already overwhelming stash.
