Here’s my current Knitting Dilemma. I am anxious to start the Blue Jay Shawl with the yarn that I purchased at the Maryland Sheep and Wool Festival but these Size 9 circular needles are stuck on this partially done shawl. The shawl is really pretty. It’s Filatura DiCrosa Superior Yarn. 70% Cashmere, 30% Silk. A Really beautiful yarn. The thing is, I really don’t have any enthusiasm for this project.
Now I have at least 3 other pairs of Size 9 circular needles, but I want to use these because they are the addi Turbo Lace needles. The points are a little sharper and I know they’re the right needles for the blue jay shawl.
So, here’s my choices
1-I just pull the needles out of this project-take the knitted shawl apart and save the yarn for another project
2- Take a different piece of yarn and string the live stitches on that until I finish the blue jay shawl and then return the needles to this project
3-(The choice I probably won’t pick!) I actually finish this superior shawl before I start the blue jay shawl.
Now, if this was an employment situation, I’d have take choice #3 and finish the started project, but thank gooodness, this is my knitting and I can do whatever I want. So now I have to choose. What do you think?
Also, this week, I’ve been working on another shawl. Look’s like if I start several, I’ll have at least one new one done for the summer season.
I hate when that happens. I vote for #2.
