This winter weather and the lack of sunshine always starts to get to me. My quickest cure is to knit with bright colors. I bought this yarn to make a Rainbow afghan (child size) last summer. The yarns are an Egyptian cotton with a glorious sheen and the Berrocco Plush in coordinated colors. I’ve been holding on to this project for awhile but today, I knew it was time to make it. Just starting it lifted my mood.

Meanwhile, I finished the first green cabled sock from my last post and I’ve started the second one. I’m about 4 inches into the leg and should be able to finish it this week.
