I bought the yarn in June, knowing that I needed to make a baby sweater for a gift in October. The sweater is the striped one from the gauge that I posted in June. That’s as far as I got with the sweater all summer long. Fast forward to September 15th and I realize I have three weeks to make this baby sweater. Shouldn’t be a problem, right. Well, guess what! as usual, it’s the night before I need this gift and I’m still sewing in the sleeves and weaving in all the ends.

When will I learn!! I’ve said time and again that I won’t make projects with a deadline and then every once in awhile, I forget and put all this pressure on myself again.

Anyway, the sweater came out beautifully and the baby and her parents really appreciate it. I can’t ask for more than that.

Now, you ask, where’s the photo of the sweater. I just went to upload the photo and my computer is being finicky and won’t read the camera card. I’m going to be really disappointed if I can’t figure out how to get those photos on my computer.

Not much knitting this week. Work is getting in the way again. That and the need for sleep.
