I had to straighten up my studio tonight and guess what I found. A wonderful shawl that I started last fall. It’s perfect for October weather. The colors are all the golds, greens, oranges, and browns of the leaves turning color in the Fall. The yarn is Alpaca Yarn Company Paca de Seda-80% Alpaca and 20% Silk. I am knitting the tradional cast on 3 stitches and increase each row until it’s a large triangular shawl. I had also started to add a row of eyelet abounts 4 inches from the start. It’s on Size 8 needles and shouldn’t take too long to finish. Just maybe I’ll be able to wear it this Fall. I’ll post photos as soon as it’s done.
Meantime, I’m also working on the Superior shawl, a cell phone case out of some wonderful self striping sock yarn, and the Encore baby blanket from the 8 hour Blanket book. I’ve also made progress on the small knit tote bag that I’m knitting in the round.
I seem to start 3 or 4 projects at once and then settle down to finish one. I’m not sure which one will hold my attention until it’s finished. I’ll let you know.
