A Great Tote for Small Projects

Here is my latest tote bag project. It measures approximately 8 inches high by 9 1/2 inches wide and 3 inches deep. It has imitation leather handles, a wooden button, and a magnetic closure. The inside pocket is 6 inches wide and 4 inches deep. This tote is ideal for those sock projects. Just big enough! Easy to carry too. Again, I made this with items that I already had in my studio. In addition to tons of yarn, I have a lot of fabric and trim. The handles I picked up along the way (can’t even remember when).

I am having the most wonderful time going through my supplies and turning them into completed projects. I’ve discovered some fabrics that I couldn’t match up a lining fabric so I stopped at a quilt shop and picked up 3 remnants for under $5 each. They are all in colors that should coordinate with things I already have.

While going through my supplies, I did come across a piece of fabric that is going to make a terrific lining, but I can’t figure out what the project is going to be. I go through my supplies every few days now and each time, I find something that calls to be used.

My dishcloth knitting has fallen behind this week. I still have the same cloth on the needles as last Sunday. I’ve spent most of the week working on these other projects. I am making progress on the second grocery bag. The colors are really wild.

Thanks to all for your comments. I will let everyone know as soon as I post the pattern for the baby blanket
