Today’s stitch pattern is actually the swatch for a baby blanket that I just completed. The pattern is a traditional chevron pattern in two colors.
This chevron pattern is an 11 stitch repeat. For the swatch I cast on 33 stitches using U.S. Size 6 needles and a DK weight yarn.
The pattern is 12 rows. I knit the garter stitch portion in gray and the stockinette stitch portion in white. Just make sure to change colors on the right side of the fabric.
I chose to cut the yarn at each color change although, I’m sure carrying the yarn up the side is probably fine.
The blanket is done and I’ll be posting the pattern for the finished blanket in the near future.
